Golden Table Awards
Coming Q4 2026The first data-verified kitchen recognition program
Most kitchen awards are nomination-based, meal-judged, or industry-popularity-driven. The Golden Table Awards are different. Recipients pass two independent verification gates — food safety and fire safety — both built on primary-source evidence from the jurisdictions that actually inspect them.
Excellence Verified.
Verification model
Two standards. Verified independently.
No aggregated score. No marketing-grade rubric. No mystery algorithm. Each standard passes or it doesn't — and a kitchen has to clear both to be recognized.
Standard 01
Food Safety
Verified against the jurisdiction's own inspection record. The Golden Table doesn't define what passing food safety means — the local health authority does. We just read what they wrote.
Standard 02
Fire Safety
Verified against the fire AHJ's record. Hood cleaning cadence, suppression-system inspection, permit standing — whatever the AHJ tracks, that's what we read.
What this isn't
A Golden Table isn't a Michelin star
Michelin rates the food. James Beard recognizes the chef. Yelp measures sentiment. The Golden Table measures something different — whether the kitchen runs to the standards that two government authorities have already defined.
A three-star Michelin restaurant can fail a food safety inspection. A neighborhood diner can pass one. The Golden Table isn't ranking taste or ambiance or innovation. It's verifying the operational floor — the part no diner sees but every insurer, inspector, and family member quietly assumes is handled.
Launch
California Q4 2026
California first. 62 jurisdictions covered on launch — same JIE backbone that powers EvidLY's risk identification and ScoreTable's inspection-data displays. Other states roll out as JIE coverage expands.
Verification data for the launch jurisdictions — including Los Angeles County, San Diego County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Santa Clara County — flows from ScoreTable's agency-mirrored records.
Methodology
Verification runs on EvidLY's Jurisdiction Intelligence Engine
EvidLY reads the regulations for every covered jurisdiction and identifies the verification gates that apply. The Golden Table passes or fails based on what those gates say.
FTC disclosure: The Golden Table Awards are a program of Stovio Advisors, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EvidLY LLC. Verification methodology is built on EvidLY's JIE.
